whimsical flower paintings from imagination by North Vancouver artist Sandrine PelissierI will display a selection of my flowers paintings, it will be a good fit for exhibiting in a garden 🙂

The Art in the Garden tour is a 2 days self guided tour of the North Shore gardens, with visual artists displaying and selling their works and musicians performing all weekend.

This year, the tour will take place Saturday, May 27th and Sunday, May 28th from 12:00pm-5:00pm both days – rain or shine!

Stay tuned: I will publish the garden location a bit later, once confirmed.

I made 2 art lessons for the Cloth Paper scissors magazine and this is the second one: It shows you how to add visual texture with a dipping pen.
The lesson comes with a lot of pictures and even a short video.

“Botanical Allegory” sold and is displayed in this beautiful home. I think it is the perfect painting to fit that space!

This year for Culture Days Sophie Babeanu and I did have a fun activity where participants were drawing a selfie, the old fashion way 🙂 That is without a cell phone.

And here are the self portraits:
