Sandrine has the uncanny ability to draw and capture the essence of the human figure. I know, because I’ve been part of the same figure drawing group with her for almost 2 years. I also know it takes real skill, talent and acute observation to be able to draw like that—and she makes it all look so effortless—believe me— it’s not. I wanted her art to be part of my very eclectic art collection.

My wife loves color and flowers, and loved Sandrine’s art that we saw in a gallery on a trip to BC. I took a picture of it and surprised her with it for Christmas. She absolutely loved it. Wanted it hung above the stove so she could see it often, since she also loves cooking.
As far as the business side of working with Sandrine, she was incredibly responsive, and got the work in the mail very quickly. Highly recommend her business-wise, and the art speaks for itself.

Dear Sandrine, your studio is my favourite on the art crawl, open house. My first visit to your studio, in your original location, I purchased a small wooden panel of a flower. This piece fills me with joy! (It is also featured in one of your books). I have also purchased a book and a life drawing, brought my two granddaughters to visit and paint rocks. I have yet to take one of your classes….on my list! My travel schedule keeps getting in the way.
I always feel inspired reading your emails and visiting your space.

Two years ago, for my 60 th birthday my daughters gave me the large print of Nymph Echo on watercolour paper, and it now hangs in my bedroom. In addition to my 60th anniversary, this birthday also coincided with the end of chemo therapy treatments. They knew that I admire your work and Facebook is great to follow your art.
I truly love the print, what a beautiful scene to inspire relaxation, and a reminder of life’s beauty!!

“City Lights” has arrived in Atlanta, GA and it is even more spectacular in person than I could have ever imaged. I’m so excited to get it home and hang it over our fireplace. Me and my wife cannot thank you enough for allowing us to own such an amazing piece of art. It will forever remind us of one of the most special places in all of the world.

I own your painting “Louise at the Beach” and it has a place of honour above the fireplace in our sitting room. I remember walking into the gallery at Place Des Arts and falling in love with this piece. It reminded me so much of my younger daughter when she was a toddler. I asked my husband for this painting for my 40th BD gift. This piece is so beautiful, subtle and evocative!! Your painting is loved and admired every day.

We purchased your art from Saatchi – Mosquito Creek.  I just wanted to let you know how much we love it:  it sits centre stage in our living room, we can’t stop looking at it!  I bought it as an anniversary present for my wife – it’s pretty hard to purchase something for a woman who is not particularly materialistic – so I am thrilled that your painting brings so much pleasure to her (to us).  When my 7 year old boy saw it, he said:  “Wow, Mum, Dad must really love you.”  Thank you for sharing your beautiful creations with us.  I imagine some artist find it hard to part with their beautiful creations (perhaps never to see them again).  I’d like you to know that we treasure it, and derive a small simple pleasure every time we walk past it.
