The Figure Collection

This collection is a focused study of the living form—celebrating the human figure.

A significant element of this work is the celebration of the true beauty and diversity of women’s bodies of all ages and shapes. Working from drawings made in life drawing classes with inspiring and diverse models, I aim to present nude bodies in a non-sexual, non-objectifying way. This art challenges the mainstream narrative that female worth is tied to stereotypes of youth, thinness, or perfection.

My consistent focus is on minimalist, precise contour lines and the expressive potential of decorative patterns.

Across different media—from the measured ink of an Essential Line drawing to the bold texture of a Relief Print —these pieces are unified. They share a commitment to capturing the essence, movement, and dignity of human beings through the powerful simplicity of line and detailed pattern.
